RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & EXCHANGES
Helen Ainson Shipping & Return Policy, you have 7 days to return eveningwear, gowns and dresses for full store credit, original method of payment with a 20% restocking fee or even exchange only. Package must be postmarked no later than 7 days of receipt of merchandise. If item is not returned in the original condition, or padlock seal is broken, the return will not be accepted under any circumstances. Custom made items and sale merchandise are FINAL SALE
For all other categories; handbags, home and gift items, lingerie, outerwear, shoes, casual clothing and wardrobe solutions, we have a 10 day policy for refund or exchange. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. The package must be postmarked 10 days from receipt of merchandise. When returning items, you must first email email@example.com to obtain a return authorization number. This number must be written on the outside of the box. Boxes shipped to us without this number will not be accepted.
We carefully inspect each item that is shipped from our store to be sure it is the style, size, and color that you ordered, free of damage or defects and will reach you before your wear date. It is common to have a dress or garment with loose beads. In no case will the garment be considered defective due to such issues. If you choose to have Helen Ainson tighten up any loose beads or appliques, we would be very happy to accommodate however, you would be responsible for all shipping costs to and from.
In stock orders are shipped 24-72 hours of cleared payment, excluding weekends and major holidays. If an item is not in stock it can take up to 8 weeks for delivery. Please note your wear date in the special instructions box on the checkout page to insure we will get your item to you in time. If we are unable to provide you with the item(s) you ordered within your time frame then you will be refunded the full amount you paid. All orders are processed immediately and cannot be altered in any way. This includes billing, shipping, dress size, color or wear date.
Standard shipping is free. 2 Day shipping and overnight shipping is also available for an additional fee during the checkout process. Online sales can also be picked up from our store free of charge. Sales will be shipped by USPS or FedEx ground unless you choose another option at checkout. At this time we are only shipping inside the United States.
